SUNDAY PHOTO SESSIONS
10+ years photographing for theatre and the performing arts.
Photography has always been one of my artistic outlets. I got my first film camera when I was 6 (110 cartridge toy camera) and my first prosumer digital camera (5 megapixels!) in my twenties.

What most sets me apart from everyone else with a DSLR is that I have an academic background in Art History and Visual Culture. I've spent the majority of my professional life intensely looking and observing images in all mediums, and I'm uniquely trained to do so. Not only do I understand the trends, I have a deep knowledge of photography's history, color theory, and the human form as represented in art since the the switch from BCE to CE.

I also co-direct Good Company Theatre, so I have many years of experience looking at headshots and participating in casting processes. As a fat Black woman, I am sensitive to the requirements more melanated skin tones require to be photographed at their most luscious, and the best ways to flatter all body-types.
